Old Burghclere is a rural hamlet 6 miles south of Newbury and is convenient for the A34 which runs from the Midlands, through Newbury and on to Winchester and the M3.

I (Keith Marshall) run the Dew Pond with my wife, I am the Chef and Julie looks after the restaurant.
Our aim is to create a relaxed, friendly but professional ambience with a menu that reflects the locally sourced produce.
We have around 12 tables seating up to 45 guests with good quality china & glassware. We are open Tuesday through to Saturday for dinner and can also hold functions such as weddings for up to 50(lunch & dinner)

Our wines have been chosen with an emphasis on quality & interest rather than quantity, we also have a list of Fine Wines and good selection of Dessert Wines for those that are interested.

Wine service in restaurants can be quite elaborate, but our approach is straight forward, we offer you a taste to check the condition, pour a small glass for each diner and then leave it up to you.
